You're getting warmer..... this is a garden I need to see. I would like to go from there down along the US coastline. Thanks for including Canada!

  2. Teza,
I've heard it said that Nitobe is the most authentic Japanese garden in North America. Having toured many in the U.S., I'd venture to say that there is a tranquility to the setting and beauty of design that is memorable, and sets Nitobe apart.

  5. I've been to both and was likewise charmed.
The UBC campus was a total surprise. We happened upon it when my daughter was investigating potential universities.

  6. Hi Alice, thanks for dropping by my blog!! I will be posting about my visit to our local BG orchid show either tonight or tomorrow. Public gardens always make for great posts.

I did get a copy of the SF paper with Amy's piece, thanks! Or a scan of it at least ...
