Citron Cachet! AIC Ptrizker Garden

Modern Wing of the Chicago Art Institute

I love the sharp tang of citron, or maybe I should say, chartreuse - the color of the chairs
in Chicago's Pritzker Garden.

It's the structure and evergreen forms of the landscape architecture that I'm drawn to when I visit this downtown setting.....

  1. Love that color! Really grounds the soaring architecture.

  3. I didn't venture out because of the cold. Too bad I missed this. Everything in the setting is complimentary.

  4. I like the traditional look, but doesn't down town Chicago look marvellous. Why do so many people not like the colour green, never quite understand it.

  5. Hmm,
Blogger may be acting up. I thought I had replied to your comments.

    Karen,
    Your observation is spot-on!

    Andrea,
The grasses definitely add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the mix.

    Bom,
Your quite the traveler, my friend. Winter in Chicago can be limiting, unfortunately!

    Alistair,
Happy to introduce you to some of Chicago's landmarks.
I find one's responses to colors to be endlessly fascinating. Cheers!

  8. Hi found you through Blotanical, I just became a member of your blog. Think we have things in common, even if we garden at different parts of the world. Would have loved to travel and see all the gardens, I don't travel anymore, but I can 'travel' through your lovely photos!
    Cheers!
