Do the students use it on warm spring days to hang out and study? The stones seem a good height for it. At the same time I wonder if I might feel somehow exposed and on exhibit, out there on the island, like lostlandscape (James)http://soenyun.com/Blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503383579285260292.post-59163321604242351952009-10-25T13:07:58.036-07:002009-10-25T13:07:58.036-07:00very interesting. brings up the old question: is t...very interesting. brings up the old question: is this a garden or not?Town Mousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09777461911856383480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503383579285260292.post-72329520833721258622009-10-25T12:14:41.830-07:002009-10-25T12:14:41.830-07:00HM,

This is very serene and contemplative. I must admit however that while from the entrance of the bridgeway it looks effectively representative a wild brush tangle from the long side view it looks exactly like a giant slinky. Thanks for commenting on the design.
...Howitgrows,

Thanks for commenting on the design.

What I find interesting is the juxtaposition of the contemporary materials set within the natural landscape. In this case, I appreciate the stark quality for its allusion to Eliasson's native Icelandic terrain. As I mentioned, the design spins off from a reference to that country's Parliament.

Whatever the Bay Area Tendrilshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02559534912850380427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503383579285260292.post-18036902659483346512009-10-25T10:31:11.225-07:002009-10-25T10:31:11.225-07:00I love the patterns of the bridge.I love the patterns of the bridge.HappyMouffetardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09157145094611234176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503383579285260292.post-53488742917846589562009-10-25T10:03:15.071-07:002009-10-25T10:03:15.071-07:00Seems like kind of a stark design.
