  1. Pretty! The first place I saw that species was in the Owens Valley in California, Mojave Desert, somewhere S of Independence on US-395. Definitely the western desert version of bluebonnets.

  2. I love Lupines! And they're so good for the soil since they add a lot of nitrogen back t. The foliage is great, too!

      I don't think I was aware of lupines adding nitrogen to the soil. Interesting!

  3. I love the Lupine, and that's a stunning blue! I tried to get both Arroyo and Sky Lupine to grow here, but the gophers seemed to have other ideas about my plantings ;)

  5. I have never seen a wild lupin before.Love the vibrant blue colour.The dark
    maroon buddleia is very beautiful too.
