Hi Alice~~ Perfect for the dark days of winter. I love the sunshine and green as well as the structures and the beauty they support. Makes me long for summer. Hope your Christmas was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you just love a pond like that along a walkway...it's absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely, they all have the same feeling of being on oasis of peace and reflection. I particularly like the blue arbor and the planting around it. Hmmmm inspiration. Yan
ReplyDeleteooohhhh, looking forward to more of your travels xxxx
ReplyDeleteI would like one of each! Great ideas and lovely photos Alice!
ReplyDeleteJust so inspiringly beautiful. My favourite out of this is Parc Guell. Wonderful to be swept away through blogosphere to sunny climates and lovely clear blue skies thankyou :) and then I look out my own window to see 1ft of snow.
ReplyDeleteI tried to pick my favorite - I couldn't do it. Thanks for the post. I came to blogging late in the year and missed these, so now I can go back and explore. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of hardscapes. They add such wonderful structure in the garden.
ReplyDeleteOooh, just beautiful, dreaming of travels in Spain. Here's to many travels in 2010.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. It makes me want to travel to Spain. I just love how the Clematis looks draping downwards.
ReplyDeleteThat shot from Granada has that wonderful "am I inside or am I outside?" appeal. I think us Californians get so used to casual gardening that we forget what a difference formality makes.
ReplyDeleteJust wonderful photos of great places!
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Spain!
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures. I like to use them as inspiration, for structures in my own garden. I need more land now, LOL. Thanks for sharing!
When I am rich and can afford a huge garden, I shall build a collonade like the one at Fundacion Rodriguez Acosta.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the rest of the Christmas Season, Alice, and for 2010 too.
Esther
how absolutely gorgeous and inspiring! I mentioned this before but we visited parc guell in Barcelona - it was cold, dead, and rainy though! Wish I could have seen it as you did. I love the gardens of Europe.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for stopping by at this busy time of year.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate all your comments... Cheers!
Alice
