The memories we bring back from our travels....
....are an essential part of the journey. Long after returning home, the beauty of a setting, and the sense of discovery remain to be savored on a winter's evening. A richly rewarding surprise on a recent trip to London: Kensington Roof Gardens - adjacent to Sir Richard Branson's Babylon Restaurant.
It looks amazing, Alice! Aren't pleasant surprises the best?! Glad you hadd a great trip!
ReplyDeleteReally amazing this wonderful garden in the hearth of London!
ReplyDeleteThe sound you just heard was me catching my breath. Really beautiful photos-- and memories. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAh...how lovely! These are the views that comfort us during the waiting of winter.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for taking this rooftop stroll with me....!
ReplyDeleteI think wisteria is so beautiful! When I was a child, a great wisteria vine covered the front porch. All the neighbors commented on it when it was in bloom. But the great vine grew to be a monster that almost destroyed the house! I would love to have a metal arbor on which to grow our native wisteria, said to be less invasive but just as beautiful.
