The theft of content and photos on the Internet is widespread.
For now, I'll be taking steps to insert links back to my site.
I live pretty close to The Huntington Gardens but don't go very often. I think I need to convince hubby to take me...
ReplyDeleteThis place looks serene and beautiful with scenic views. I love the reflections.
ReplyDeleteAll of these places are beautiful -have you visited all of them? if so, lucky you! I would love to see Sooke Harbour house; the setting is so tranquil!
ReplyDeleteAs the song says, "It was a very good year!" :-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize Sooke Harbour House was located in such a lovely spot. Next time we are on the island we will have to go there.
Hope your coming year is as lovely as the last!
What pretty photos of pretty places. Inspiration is always appreciated around my garden - thanks!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what the new year will bring me and other BATGT fans! I love the passion you bring to your photos, so inspiring and magic.

ReplyDeleteAlice, I did not realize that this was only your first year with this blog. It is amazing, you are very talented.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for stopping by and taking time to comment!
ReplyDeleteFern, There's much to see that's new at the Huntington these past few years. I do love it there, and wish I were able to visit more often.
Deb, I've been fortunate to have visited the public spaces, formal landscapes, display gardens, hotels & even some restaurants with kitchen gardens that appear here on Bay Area Tendrils!
However, I have thousands of slides that have not yet been converted to digital images, so once in a while I use photos that a garden provides.
I do appreciate all your kind words :~))
You are living my dream life, what fantastic gardens you've visited. Thanks for taking us along. I'm looking forward to even more great gardens.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Alice,
ReplyDeletePlease ship me all those stone features shown asap!!!
I just clicked the Alcatraz piece on your side bar. I saw the gardens featured in the Jan issue of Gardens Illustrated. A tour would be wonderful, they look superb.
Hello Alice,
ReplyDeleteThe Huntington is one of my favorite gardens, but I have not had a chance to see the new Chinese Garden. I hear it is fabulous. I look forward to your 2010 garden travels.
Alice, Thank you for such a relaxing segue into the New Year. Could you do a Watery Wednesday each week? Such great photos.
